The rolling hills and beautiful river views make Indian Creek Recreation Area an excellent place to camp, picnic and explore. Park visitors will find new adventure in this rugged land explored by Lewis and Clark in 1804. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, cowboys used the area to fatten thousands of cattle for shipment south. Plan ahead and make reservations for one of the two campgrounds or a camping cabin, open year-round. It's quick and easy with the online system.

All of the campsites have electric hookups, with access to comfort stations with flush toilets and showers. The cozy one-bedroom cabins sleep four in a set of bunk beds and a double bed. Heating and air conditioning allow you to stay comfortable whatever the weather. Outdoors, a picnic table and fire grate make outdoor cooking and dining a pleasure. Within the park, anglers will find the facilities they need: boat ramp, fish-cleaning station and fishing pole checkout. Ice fishing in the colder months is popular. The whole family can come together for some fun by checking out a game, and children can romp on the playground.

Indian Creek Recreation Area offers over 2.5 miles of hiking and biking trails. Along any of the three trails, a person can spot a variety of wildlife, from deer, raccoons, beavers, and bull snakes to turkeys, pheasants and orchard orioles. Onsite is the Bridge City Marina and Resort, which offers boat slip rentals, a floating fuel dock, bait, guide service, convenience store and several modern cabins. Close to Indian Creek is the Revheim Bay Recreation Area, a day-use park with four picnic shelters, a playground, an off-highway vehicle area, two sets of horseshoe pits, and a sand volleyball court.

    Weekend trip

Love camping and fishing. Had a family emergency come up and had to leave campground for overnight. Did not get back until late next day. Paid for another night and people at gate were understanding and very friendly. All our stuff was intact. Did have a wonderful time while we were there. Thank you!
